• Remove all packaging material before using the cooking plates.
• Check the voltage marked on the product is the same as your supply voltage.
• Select a suitable position close to an electric socket, on a dry and even surface.
• Make sure the switch is in the “MIN” position (“MIN” facing upwards). Plug in.
• The invisible protective coating must be removed before you can use the appliance. To do this, set the switch to the maximum setting and leave switched on for approximately 4 minutes. Smoke will develop, make sure that the room is ventilated. Switch off the cooking plate and allow to cool down completely. The cooking plate is now ready for use.
• Always use flat-bottomed saucepans, which make good contact with the cooking plate. The saucepan bases should ideally be of the same size as the cooking plate.
• Select the temperature. The cooking plate has a range of temperatures. Use the lower heat settings (“MIN” to 4) for simmering and gentle heating and the high settings 5 to “MAX” for boiling
• Due to the cooking plate’s construction, residual heat will remain after switching off. This may be used to keep food warm for a short period.
• After use, turn temperature dial to „MIN“ and unplug the appliance from electrical outlet.
