TK-1200B Cleaning and maintenance

1. Always disconnect the kettle from the power outlet before cleaning. Never immerse the kettle or power base in water, or allow moisture to come into contact with these parts, in case of electric leakage.
2. Exterior cleaning: wipe over the exterior of the kettle with a soft damp cloth, and then wipe dry with a dry cloth.
Note: Do not use chemicals, iron matter, saw dust or other abrasive cleaners to clean.
3. Clearance of deposit: minerals in water may deposit at the bottom of kettle, which will influence the usability of the kettle. So periodical descaling is needed.
Please use detergents according to its instruction. Or according to the following methods with white vinegar.
a) Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, and then add water until it is over the deposit in the kettle, and allow it to stand overnight.
b) Empty the solution from the kettle. Fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum level, discard after boiling. Repeat for several times until there is no taste of vinegar.
4. When the kettle is in storage or not in use, do not fold the power cord.
