Cleaning
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• If necessary, the device may be cleaned with a damp cloth with out any additives.
• Filter holder, glass jar and lid can be washed in hot soapy water or placed at the top in the dishwasher.
• Never wash other parts of the device in the dishwasher. Never use strong detergents, scouring powders, steel wool or other release agents on any part of the maker.
Descaling
• How often kettle needs descaling depends on how hard the water is and how often it is used.
• If the unit shuts off before the water boils, it is likely that it needs descaling.
• Use a commercially available descalcifying.
