- Press the cleaning button to start cleaning mode. The cleaning process takes 7 minutes, and the countdown will show on the display.
- If you prefer to use a cleaning agent, we recommend using a small amount of the Wilfa Brewfresh Universal Cleaner. Run at least one extra cleaning cycle to remove any residue in the system.
- To drain water, place the machine near the edge of the countertop, hold a large container beneath the silicone plug, and pull out the silicone plug from underneath the ice maker. Ensure all water is drained before reinserting the plug.
- Remember to change the water every day when using the ice maker regularly. Using fresh water improves ice quality.
- To clean the air vents on the machine, unplug, and use canned air to remove dust from the air vents. Use short bursts. This helps maintain airflow and keeps the machine running efficiently.
- Before storing the machine, run cleaning mode first, and drain all water from the machine. Wipe it with a dry cloth and leave the lid open to air dry before storage. This prevents mould growth.
- Store the ice maker in a dry, dust-free location, out of reach of children.
