OPERATION
• Select the required voltage by turning the selector control underneath the water kettle. Always check that you have selected the correct voltage before using the kettle.
• Raise the lid and fill the tank with fresh water. The water level must not exceed “MAX” mark in the kettle.
• Close the lid by pressing it down until you hear a click. Make sure it closes correctly.
• Plug in and switch on. The light on the handle will come on, indicating that the appliance is working.
• Your kettle will boil and switch off automatically. To re-boil the push button needs time to reset. It can take up to 1 minute.
• Always unplug the kettle after use.
Warning: This travel kettle can’t be switched off by pressing the switch, just automatically when cooking. Therefore, it may be that the unit will automatically start when you insert the plug. Allow boiling and turn off automatically. At next cooking cycle you can press the button to start your kettle.
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
This travel kettle is protected with a safety device that switches off the appliance automatically when it is accidentally switched on without water. In this case, unplug the appliance and wait about 10 minutes for the element to cool. Then fill the kettle with cold water.
