• We recommend decalcifying the kettle in regular intervals, depending on the intensity of use. Before cleaning, it is essential to remove the power plug from the socket and wait until the device is completely cooled down.
• The scale filter is located prior to the spout. To remove the filter, open the cover and push the plastic flap downwards. Then deep clean the taken filter with warm water and insert it into the holder again. When inserting the filter, take care that the retaining lug is fixed to the guide rail.
• Only use conventional descaling agents based on citric acid. Please follow the manufacture´s instructions for dosing the respective product you have chosen.
• The heating element must not be cleaned and never be processed with sharp or hard objects.
• For cleaning the outer surface of the kettle, only use a damp cloth. Never use hard or abrasive objects like a wire brush or a steel-sponge for cleaning.
• Please do not use any aggressive cleaning agents which could be harmful for human consumption or damage the surface.
