Did you know that you can make lasagne in an airfryer? You can, and it tastes great.
Recipe: Tiiu.
Ingredients:
- 400 g minced meat / plant-based protein
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 400 g (tin) chopped tomatoes (e.g. Mutti)
- 470 g lasagne sauce (e.g. Dolmio)
- 70 g Parmesan cheese
- 1 mozzarella ball
- grated cheese (e.g. mozzarella mix)
- approx. 10 lasagne sheets
- black pepper and salt for seasoning
How to do it:
Fry the minced meat in a pan, then add the spices, ketchup, and honey. Add salt and the chopped tomatoes. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
Grate the Parmesan and mix it with the lasagne sauce. Season with black pepper and a pinch of salt. Place half of the meat sauce at the bottom of the basket, then add about ¼ of the lasagne sauce and the first layer of lasagne sheets. Add the rest of the meat sauce, about 2/4 of the lasagne sauce, and then the grated mozzarella. Add another layer of lasagne sheets, then the remaining lasagne sauce and grated cheese on top.
Cook the lasagne in the air fryer at 200°C for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese has a golden colour, and the lasagne sheets are cooked through.
In this recipe the Dualfry Split 8-litre air fryer is used. The large capacity makes it possible to prepare big portions at once, and the dishwasher-safe removable parts make it very easy to use.
