Start your day or recharge after a workout with this fresh and delicious smoothie. You can make it with or without protein powder and swap the milk for a plant-based alternative if you prefer. 

Ingredients

  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 large handful of fresh spinach
  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 50 ml frozen mango and pineapple
  • 1 tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • 250 ml milk or almond milk

Suggested toppings

  • Granola
  • Fresh mango
  • Frozen raspberries
  • Coconut flakes
  • Almond or peanut butter

How to make it

  1. Blend it up
    Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve your way
    Pour into a glass or bowl and top with your favorite ingredients – or enjoy it just as it is.

Tips & Twists:

  • Use oat or soy milk or other milk types for a dairy-free version.
  • Add a few mint leaves for extra freshness.
