Vacuum packs give your food 5 times longer shelf life. This is precisely why it is so profitable to vacuum pack food, but that is only one of the advantages.

All food can be vacuum packed. The vacuum packer sucks the air out of a thick plastic bag, then seals it with a welding seam. The shelf life of the food is extended, both for fresh and frozen food, up to five times, and you throw away less food.

What can you use a vacuum packer for?

  • Freezing raw materials such as meat and berries. The raw materials last up to 5 times longer, and it protects the raw materials from freezing damage in the freezer.
  • Storage of fresh fish, meat and poultry. They last up to five times longer in the fridge if they are vacuum packed.
  • Cooking
    • Quick marinating of meat / fish.
    • Sous-vide Sous-vide has become a popular way of cooking food, and the result is absolutely delicious. Sous-vide is French and means under vacuum, the food is vacuum packed and submerged in hot water.
  • Storage of silver. Silver oxidizes when it comes into contact with air, and this causes the silver to become discoloured.

    Wilfa Warrenty

    Wilfa is now extending the warranty period on all branded products to 5 years from September 1, 2020. This covers manufacturing defects and faults that may occur, with proof of purchase as proof of warranty. The warranty is valid for private use and not for commercial use, abuse or misuse.
