Recipe for chocolate chip cookies - a favorite!

Chocolate chip cookies:

  • 200 g wheat flour (3.3 dl)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 115 g butter at room temperature
  • 90 g caster sugar (1 dl)
  • 100 g brown sugar (1.25 dl)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 200 g chocolate buttons

How to do it:

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees hot air (175 degrees upper and lower heating).
  2. Mix together the flour, bicarbonate and salt in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Stir together the butter, icing sugar, brown sugar and vanilla powder to a creamy mass.
  4. Stir in the egg and finally the flour.
  5. Mix in the chocolate buttons, save a little to press down on the biscuits.
  6. Press the dough onto baking paper on a baking tray. It should be approx. 15 cakes.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until they have a nice color but are still soft. Take them out.
  8. Sprink some flaked salt and let them cool on the tray.
