Rice (microwaved)

  • 1 bag of boil-in-bag Jasmine rice
  • 5 dl water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cm ginger

Instructions:
Place the water in a microwave-safe container with a lid. Microwave on high for five minutes. Meanwhile, slice the ginger thinly and gather the rest of the ingredients for the dish. After five minutes, or when the water is boiling, remove the container, add salt and ginger, and place the bag of rice in the water. Replace the lid and microwave on full power for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, drain the water and replace the lid. Let the rice rest for at least 10 minutes, or as long as it takes to prepare the rest of the dish.

Pork Tenderloin

  • 400 g pork tenderloin
  • Fine salt
  • Neutral oil
  • 3 tbsp hoisin sauce

Instructions:
Once the rice is done, start the airfryer at 230°C (446°F). Let it heat up while you prepare the meat. Cut the meat into portions, brush with a little neutral oil, and season with salt all around. Place the tenderloin on the grill rack and set it in the airfryer drawer. Airfry at 230°C (446°F) for eight minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables. After 8 minutes, remove the meat and brush with a little hoisin sauce. Lower the temperature of the airfryer to 170°C (338°F) and cook for another five minutes. When the cooking time is up, remove the meat and brush it with hoisin sauce again. Let the meat rest while the vegetables are steaming.

Steamed Vegetables

  • 6 broccolini
  • 1 pak choy
  • 0.5 red chili
  • 1 spring onion
  • 2 dl water
  • Fine salt
  • Sesame oil
  • Olive oil

Instructions:
Cut the pak choy into four "boats" lengthwise. Rinse between the layers to remove any dirt and sand. Trim the bottom ends of the broccolini stems and remove any leaves. Place the pak choy and broccolini in a microwave-safe dish. Pour in the water, sprinkle with a little salt, sesame oil, and olive oil. Toss lightly.

Place the vegetables in the microwave once the meat is resting. Cook on full power for five minutes. Meanwhile, slice the chili and spring onion into thin slices.

When the vegetables are done steaming, drain the water and toss with the chili and spring onion. You can also sprinkle some sesame seeds on top if desired.

Serve a bowl of rice topped with a few sesame seeds and optionally some spring onion and coriander. Serve the vegetables and meat on a plate. A bowl of hoisin sauce on the side is recommended.

Enjoy!
