Make delicious, healthy homemade granola bars. Perfect to take in your packed lunch or on your Sunday walk.
For this recipe you need a powerful blender as the mass is relatively thick.
You need
- 2 dl dates without stones
- 0.5 dl acacia honey or agave syrup
- 1 dl peanut or almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 4 dl lightly boiled oatmeal
- 2 dl coconut
- 1 pinch of flake salt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 50 g dark chocolate
How to do it
- Put the dates in a bowl and pour boiling water over them. Leave until the water has cooled down.
- Pour off the water and put the dates, honey, nut butter and vanilla extract in a blender.
- Run on the smoothie program to a smooth batter.
- Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl and pour the date mixture over. Turn around until everything is well mixed and place in a loaf tin with baking paper.
- Spread outwards and press down a little.
- Chill until set.
- Cut into bars.
- Melt the chocolate over a water bath and pour the chocolate over the bars.
- Leave until the chocolate has hardened.
