• Always unplug the device and turn the slice thickness adjustment knob to the zero position before cleaning. NEVER IMMERSE THE UNIT IN WATER, as this would damage the electrical components.
• Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with paper towel or damp cloth. The appliance should not be washed in a dishwasher.
• Dry all parts well before putting away for storage.After cleaning, it is advised to apply some petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline) to the back of the blade, in a circle where it contacts the circular support ridge. See illustration on next page. For removing the blade, twist clockwise and carefully lift and remove blade.
