CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning
• Handle Blades with Care
The blades are extremely sharp. Pay close attention while disassembling and
cleaning.
• Cleaning Instructions
- Clean the motor unit (3), gear box (9) and dual whisk gear box (6) with a damp
cloth only.
- All other removable parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Note: The knives
may get blunt by cleaning them in the dishwasher.
- When cleaning in the dishwasher: Place the large stick, small stick and the
S-blade with the knives pointing upwards.
- If you have processed very salty food, rinse the blades immediately to prevent
corrosion.
• Cleaning tips
- Fill the beaker with hot water and washing-up liquid, put the small stick or
large stick into the beaker and start. Do not operate more than 1 minute. Take it
out and rinse both the beaker and the stick in water.
- When processing foods with strong colours, the plastic parts may become
discoloured. To prevent this, wipe these parts with vegetable oil before putting
them in the dishwasher.
