MAKING WAFFLES
1. Preheat the waffle maker:
Close the waffle maker and let it heat up.
2. Indicator light:
The indicator light will be red. When it turns green, the waffle maker is ready for use.
3. Pour the batter:
Open the lid and pour the batter into the centre of each lower baking plate. Use the included ladle to get the perfect amount of batter.
Close the lid carefully. Do not force it closed. Steam may escape from between the baking plates.
4. Baking:
When the green light goes out, a red light will appear again. After a few minutes, the green light will come back on, indicating that the waffles are done.
The waffle maker also has audio signal to signal when the waffles are done. The on/off button for the audio signal is found under the waffle maker.
5. Adjusting the colour:
If you prefer lighter or darker waffles, adjust the thermostat accordingly.
Note:
• Avoid contact with hot surfaces!
Ensure that your fingers do not come into contact with the baking plates.
• Automatic thermostat:
During baking, the red light will switch on and off, indicating that the thermostat is regulating the temperature.
• Baking:
Waffles generally bake in about 3 minutes, depending on your personal preference.
When ready, use a plastic or wooden spatula to remove the waffles. Do not use metal utensils, as they may damage the non-stick coating.
• Keep the lid closed!
Always keep the waffle maker closed between uses to maintain the proper temperature.
• Unplug after use!
Always unplug the appliance when not in use.
