CLEANING
• Unplug before cleaning!
Always unplug the waffle maker and allow it to cool before cleaning.
• Avoid water exposure!
Do not immerse the appliance in water or rinse it under running water.
• Wipe surfaces carefully:
Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the exterior. Clean the baking plates with kitchen paper or a suitable cloth after they have cooled down.
• Avoid abrasives!
Never use sharp or abrasive tools for cleaning.
• Cleaning waffle:
Make cleaning waffles for quick and easy cleaning. For two cleaning waffles, mix 1 dl water, 2 dl flour, and 4 tbsp salt. Bake and throw the waffles away when finished.
TIPS AND TRICKS
• Preheating is key:
Always preheat the waffle maker before baking.
• Control the waffle colour:
Adjust the thermostat for lighter or darker waffles: - For lighter waffles, turn thethermostat to the left. - For darker waffles, turn the thermostat to the right.
• Wait if needed:
If the lid does not open easily, allow the waffles to bake for a little longer before attempting to open it.
• Safe removal:
When removing waffles from the baking plate, use a plastic or wooden spatula.
• Enhance your waffles:
Garnish waffles with fruit or ice cream for a delicious treat.
