For the third year in a row, the Performance coffee maker has been voted best in a test at tek.no's updated test of the best coffee makers (2024).

Performance coffee maker has also been named test winner by recommender.com (2024). They think the coffee taste from Performance is 10 out of 10.

Perfect temperature

There are several success factors needed to brew perfect coffee, and the right temperature is one of them. The Performance coffee maker brews the coffee at the most optimal water temperatures for the best coffee taste throughout the process. Unlike most other coffee makers, Performance maintains between 92 and 96 degrees from the first to the last drop.

Unique technology

Fresh water is one of the most important ingredients in good coffee. Thanks to Wilfa's unique water pump technology, the Performance Compact is completely emptied of water with each brew and you pour the next jug only with fresh water.

This is in con trast to other funnels where water remains in the system when the funnel is finished, which will in turn affect the coffee taste on the next brew.

Removable water tank - always clean water

The water container on the coffee maker is removable. It makes it easy for you to top up with fresh water when making coffee, while the water will always be clean. There is a measuring indicator on the water tank, where it is marked how much water is needed in relation to grams of coffee.

These functions distinguish our coffee maker from the traditional coffee makers, where it is practical to use the empty flask as a measure for the amount of water when brewing new coffee. By doing so, the new coffee will carry old coffee grounds with it, and the coffee may taste old. For every microscopic coffee residue that remains after the previous use (it is the grease from coffee that gets stuck in the flask) the funnel will be slightly flavored with old coffee. After a while, the new coffee will taste like old coffee. This is precisely why Perfromance has a removable water container that you can fill water directly into.

You never drink anything other than the water you just got from the tap.

Approved by Norwegian coffee information

Performance is approved by Norwegian Coffee Information, which sets requirements for, among other things, water temperature and contact time with the water. In order to get maximum flavors and aromas from the coffee, it is absolutely necessary that the coffee maker works with the right water temperature from the very beginning and throughout the brewing time. At the same time, it is important that the water does not take too short or too long to flow through the coffee powder. Small deviations mean that you can end up with either sour or bitter coffee.

Drip stop and flow control

With adjustable drip stop, you set how much coffee you brew, and give you perfect coffee regardless of quantity. The filter holders on Wilfa Performance have an adjustable opening on the underside, a so-called flow control. Flow control allows you to control the water speed and thus the extraction of the coffee, so that you can brew equally good coffee every time, whether it is one or ten cups.

Wilfa offers a 5-year warranty on Wilfa-branded products from the date of purchase after 01.09.2020. The warranty covers manufacturing defects or faults that arise during the warranty period. Presentation of proof of purchase is required as evidence of the warranty. For claims, please contact the store where the item was purchased.

This warranty applies only to products purchased and used in private households. The warranty is void if the product is used commercially. The warranty is also void in cases of misuse, negligence, failure to follow Wilfa’s instructions, and modification or unauthorized repair of the product. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, incorrect use, lack of maintenance, use of incorrect electrical voltage, or the following:

• Descaling must be performed according to the user manual
• Overloading the product
• Glass damage
• Non-stick coating
• Wear parts
• Filters, batteries, tires, and other parts expected to be replaced regularly

This extended warranty applies only to Wilfa-branded products.

Products under the brands E-Way, E-free, Stadler, Nivona, Jordan, and MySoda will continue to have a 2-year warranty.
