Grand Double claimed first place, Double Joy followed in second, and Tradition Double secured third place. Classic Double also ranked among the very best, taking fifth place in the test.
What Tek.no Assessed in the Test
Tek.no tested which double waffle makers truly deliver the best performance in everyday use. Their assessment focused on baking results, even heat distribution, ease of use, temperature control, and how well the waffle makers produce golden, crisp and evenly baked waffles time after time.
Grand Double is Best in Test
Grand Double was named Best in Test by Tek.no. The review highlights that the waffle maker produces large, attractive waffles, and that the six‑heart format makes them easier to fold and serve. Tek.no also points to the light and sound indicators as a practical advantage during use.
Double Joy takes second place
Double Joy achieved second place in the test. Tek.no emphasises that the audible signal makes it easy to know when the waffles are ready and also notes that the construction contributes to even baking and consistently good results.
Tradition Double Recommended by Tek.no
Tradition Double secures Wilfa’s third place in the test and is awarded Tek.no’s “Recommended” label. The model is described as straightforward yet delivers good baking results. Tek.no also highlights the practical size of the waffle maker and that it is easy to keep clean.
Classic Double also among the best
Classic Double placed fifth in the Tek.no test. Tek.no highlights that the waffle maker produces good waffles, stands firmly on the worktop and feels solid, while also being easy to clean and simple to use.
Four Wilfa models among the top five
With Wilfa taking the top three positions and having a fourth model ranked among the top five, the results demonstrate strong breadth across the category. The outcome of the Tek.no test confirms that Wilfa once again positions itself at the very top when double waffle makers are put to the test.
