Fresh and creamy nicecream made with mango and banana. Perfect as a healthy and quick snack, as a light summer dessert, or for breakfast when topped with some crunchy granola.
It only takes 10 minutes to make nicecream, and it tastes absolutely fantastic. If you don't want Greek yogurt in it, you can replace it with another type of milk product or lactose-free alternatives. If you choose a liquid option, start with 1/2 dl and adjust the consistency accordingly
Ingredients
- 350 g frozen mango
- 2 frozen bananas - approx. 250 g
- 1 dl Greek yogurt
- 1/2 lime, the juice Optional lime peel for the top
This is how you do it
- Take the bananas and mangoes out of the freezer 5 minutes before they are to be blended, both parts should be in large cubes.
- Put bananas and mangoes in a blender together with yogurt and lime juice, and blend until you have a delicious creamy consistency.
- Scrape down the contents on the edges once along the way if needed. Pour the nicecream into two bowls, top with finely grated lime zest and serve immediately.
