There are certainly divided opinions about what are actually the world's best waffles, and there are also many strange things that can be put into the batter to get the perfect taste, but anyway this is the recipe for what CAN be the very best:
This is what you need
- 2 eggs
- 1.5 dl sugar
- 7 dl skimmed milk
- 400-500 g wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 150 g melted butter
How to do it
- Whisk together eggs and milk.
- Mix in the dry ingredients.
- Finally add in the melted butter, which has cooled.
- Fry!
