Pizza Omelet Waffles - quick to make and full of flavour! An excellent dish when you suddenly feel like pizza.
This is what you need
Gives about 3 discs
- 6 eggs
- 0.5 dl oat drink or other milk
- 0.5 dl oat flour
- 3 tsp dried oregano
- Salt
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 paprika
- 1 dl green olives
- Topping
Tomato puree
- Fresh basil
- Parmesan
How to do it
- Heat the waffle iron to level 6.
- Crush the eggs in a bowl, add milk and wheat flour, oregano and salt.
- Stir until smooth.
- Cut the onion and paprika into small pieces and add to the batter.
- Split the olives and put them on a plate.
- Pour the batter into the iron (do not fill it fully as the batter will rise).
- Add a few slices of olives and close the iron again.
- Fake for a few minutes until the waffle has reached the desired colour.
- Place the waffle on a plate and cover with aluminum foil to retain heat.
- Fry the rest of the batter using the same procedure.
- Spread tomato puree on the waffles and sprinkle with grated parmesan. Feel free to try other toppings, such as mushrooms and pesto.
