Two old Christmas traditions put together, with a small "touch" of Asia! All you need, apart from the ingredients for waffle batter, is some leftovers from the pork chops, and you can feed many people with this fun waffle twist.
This is what you need
- Fill up to 4 people
- 250 g cleaned cooked pork chops
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1⁄2 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoons Asian chili sauce or other strong chili sauce
- 4 tbsp sour cream
- 2 clementine
- 65 g mixed baby leaf salad
How to do it
- Fry waffles in a Wilfa waffle iron and cool on a wire rack
- Pick the pork chops apart into small pieces
- Heat a frying pan with oil and add the pork chops. Sprinkle over sugar and cumin seeds and fry until the meat is crispy and glossy.
- Keep warm
- Peel clementine and cut into small pieces
- Spread a little sour cream on each waffle and spread the salad over
- Place pork chops and sprinkle with pieces of clementine
- Fold the waffle double and serve
