Vegan waffle gives you the good traditional taste, with a new twist on the recipe. These waffles are suitable for everyone, both those who eat vegan and those who want to top with a good dollop of sour cream. With homemade jam, they are a sure winner.
This is what you need
- 4 dl Soya milk
- 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
- 2 dl Wheat flour
- 1 dl Whole wheat, finely ground
- 1 dl Oatmeal
- 75 g Melted vegan butter, such as Berit Nordstrand Smøremyk
- 0.5 dl Sugar
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 Cardamom
How to do it
- Whisk together soy milk and vinegar in a bowl and leave for about 5 minutes to thicken.
- Whisk in the rest of the ingredients. Let the mixture rest for at least 5 minutes. It can also be stored in the fridge for up to a day.
- Get going! Maybe you need to grease the waffle iron before frying, it depends on what kind of iron you have.
TIP!
If you use unsalted butter, you should put a pinch of salt in the batter.
