At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, one of the world’s leading technology trade shows, Wilfa attracted attention for two product launches designed to give users more control in the kitchen: the new Performance EVO coffee maker and the next-generation Probaker NXT stand mixer.
Performance EVO brings smarter brewing to Wilfa’s flagship coffee maker
In its CES preview, Norwegian technology publication Tek.no highlighted Wilfa’s major upgrade to its flagship coffee maker category with the launch of the Performance EVO. Building on the success of the Performance series, the new model introduces two key innovations: app connectivity and a new way to make cold brew coffee.
Using the app, coffee lovers can fine-tune brewing settings, choose whether to brew a full jug or a single cup, activate blooming, and save personalised brewing programmes. At the same time, Performance EVO is designed to remain easy to use in everyday life. A single button on the machine starts brewing directly, with different press combinations for jug brewing, cup brewing and blooming mode.
Another standout feature is the new cold brew function. Performance EVO uses a newly developed pump system that first blooms the coffee with hot water before completing the brewing process with cold water from the tank, bypassing the heating element. Wilfa also recommends adding ice cubes to the water for an even colder, more refreshing result in the carafe.
Tek.no also noted that Performance EVO retains Wilfa’s BrewFresh™ system, which drains water from inside the machine between brewing cycles, helping deliver fresher coffee every time. The design has also been updated with a new brushed steel finish.
Industry magazine Elektronikkbransjen (in Norwegian) also highlighted the app control in its CES coverage of the launch.
International media attention at CES
Wilfa also received international recognition during CES 2026. AppleInsider described Wilfa as a European brand known for its kitchen appliances and highlighted its coffee machines in particular. Best Buy’s CES coverage described the Performance EVO as one of the most original and stylish coffee makers on show. The app-controlled brewing function also drew attention from home tech publication AppMyHome, which praised both the functionality and the design of Wilfa products.
Probaker NXT introduces a new brushless motor
Wilfa also presented the Probaker NXT at CES 2026, a new version of its stand mixer designed for serious home bakers. The main upgrade is a new brushless motor, which according to Wilfa CEO Morten Hoff, delivers smoother kneading, less heat build-up, faster performance and lower noise levels.
Probaker NXT builds on Wilfa’s dual rotation kneading concept, where both the bowl and dough hook rotate simultaneously for efficient and even kneading. It retains a generous 7-litre capacity and can handle up to 5 kg of dough. The product is scheduled to launch in April.
A strong signal for the future of small kitchen appliances
The attention Wilfa received from both Norwegian and international media reflects a broader trend at CES: small kitchen appliances are earning more recognition because they offer better control, better results and a simpler everyday cooking and baking experience. For anyone passionate about coffee or baking, Performance EVO and Probaker NXT are two launches worth watching.
